This summer Sompop Budtarad is back again with a new
solo exhibition “Nang Songkran 2013” One of the most prominent
traditional Thai style artists, Sompop Budtarad presents paintings
of Songkran goddesses who possess different characters according
to the prediction for the year 2013 in the Gregorian calendar.
These angels are created with delicacy and beautifully live up to
its artistic appreciation purpose, while at the same time hinting
at Thai culture, tradition, lifestyle, faith and its cultural roots that
is believed to be the local uniqueness of Thailand.

ไว้มากมาย และในนิทรรศการ “นางสงกรานต์ 2556”ครั้งนี้ สมภพจะนำเสนอผลงา
ด้วยแนวความคิดเกี่ยวกับนางสงกรานต์ประจำปี พ.ศ. 2556 ตามโหราทำนายใน
ปฏิทินแบบสุริยคติ ผ่านรูปแบบของจิตรกรรมที่สวยงามอ่อนช้อย แฝงไว้ด้วยเรื่องราว
เนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรมประเพณี ความเป็นอยู่ ความศรัทธา และรากเหง้าของคติธรรม
ความเชื่ออันเป็นเอกลักษณ์พื้นถิ่นของคนไทย
